We are delighted to celebrate our 10th Anniversary with Ammi’s Kitchen, bringing an evening of global flavours, community and connection together.
Join us to celebrate this milestone, to share your happy moments with us, and enjoy a beautifully prepared meal.
Ammi’s Kitchen is a Sheffield-based social enterprise transforming women’s authentic culinary skills into paid work. Your ticket directly supports migrant women to access paid employment and also helps raise vital funds to support Hope English School’s work and bring hope to vulnerable people in the community.

Tickets: All tickets are sold online. No tickets are available on the door. Tickets for this event are non-refundable. However, if for any reason the event is cancelled by us, we will refund your ticket.
We will have a list of names of all tickets purchased in advance, just tell us your name when you arrive.

What is Hope English School?
Hope English School is a is a Sheffield based charity specialising in the provision of ESOL classes and digital skills training to asylum seekers, refugees and vulnerable adults.
Learning English and gaining access to education is one of the biggest challenges new arrivals face. Very little is provided by the government and college courses are over subscribed and often difficult to access. We want to make education as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. We believe that gender, finances, legal status, mobility or childcare should not be a barrier to anyone accessing the learning they need. Learning English and gaining digital skills is ESSENTIAL to making a home here.
We believe that there is a future and a hope for the people we work with and that language plays a key role in providing them with opportunities and helping them to integrate.
