Creche volunteer
Do you enjoy spending time with children?
We’re looking for enthusiastic childcare volunteers to help care for the children of our students in our crèche. By supporting in this role, you’ll be helping parents focus on their English lessons in a calm, distraction-free environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Playing with, reading to, and engaging with children to keep them entertained
Setting up and tidying away toys before and after each session (with guidance from the childcare co-ordinator)
Requirements:
Volunteers must be 18 or over
You are welcome to bring your own children along if needed
ADMIN VOLUNTEER
Are you organised, reliable, and detail-oriented?
Would you like to use your administrative skills to support the smooth running of our charity? We’re looking for a volunteer to join our team and assist with a range of general and finance-related administrative tasks.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing expense claims
Filing and maintaining financial records
Managing petty cash and student travel expenses
Photocopying, printing, and document preparation
Supporting with other administrative duties as required
This role requires availability to work on Wednesdays.

Job description:
As a Fundraising Volunteer you will bring your expertise and energies to helping us to plan, organise and deliver fundraising events. To help raise funds and awareness of Hope English School.
Your tasks will include:
Working with the fundraising events co-ordinator to plan, organise and deliver fun and engaging events, through:
Building relationships with local venues/organisations who can help support our events
Developing marketing/promo materials
Contacting local businesses/individuals for sponsorship/prizes etc
Sourcing materials/venue/food/resources
Helping at the event on the day
Classroom Volunteer
Volunteer Teaching Assistant
As a Volunteer Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both learners and teachers in the classroom. This is a great opportunity to gain experience, develop your skills, and make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting learners during lessons and assisting the main teacher
(Where possible) leading parts of the lesson with guidance and support from the teacher
We’re looking for someone who is:
Passionate about working with people from diverse nationalities and cultures
Empathetic and understanding toward learners
A good listener, with the ability to provide encouragement and support
A collaborative team player
Reliable and committed to attending classes regularly
Enthusiastic about teaching and maintaining a positive attitude
Able to commit to at least one 1. 1/2 hour class per week
