Do you love organising events? Can you think creatively about ways to fundraise and spread the word about Hope English School’s work? If so, why not find out more about becoming a Fundraising Events Assistant? 

Your tasks would include: 

  • Planning, organising and delivering fundraising events. 

  • Working as part of the fundraising team to come up with and develop creative ways to raise both money and the profile of the charity.

Job description:

Helping to deliver quality ESOL Classes, Conversation Clubs or Digital Skills Courses for asylum seekers and refugees across South Yorkshire.

Your tasks will include:

  • Helping qualified ESOL teachers to deliver English classes/Conversation Clubs/Digital Skills courses

  • Attending one 2-hour class/club per week

  • Helping to set up/ pack down

  • Leading simple activities

  • Supporting weaker students

  • Chatting with students - providing them with opportunity to practice their English.
