Hope English School Free-Entry Summer Football Fundraiser 2026

To celebrate 10 years of Hope English School, we are running a free-entry summer football fundraising event inspired by this summer’s international football tournament.
Each valid entrant will be randomly assigned a team from the tournament. If your assigned team wins, you could win a donated prize.
How it works
Complete the free online entry form.
Each valid entrant receives one place on the board.
After entries close, teams will be randomly assigned.
If your assigned team wins the tournament, you win the winner’s prize.
The entrant whose assigned team has the worst group-stage record will win the wooden spoon prize.
Each person may enter once. If more than 48 valid entries are received, we may create an additional board.
Key dates
Entry period: 28 May 2026 to 10 June 2026, 12:00 noon UK time
Team allocation: 10 June 2026, evening
Tournament starts: 11 June 2026
Winner announced: after the final on 19 July 2026
Prizes
Winner prize: £50 supermarket / shopping voucher
Awarded to the entrant whose assigned team wins the tournament.
Wooden spoon prize: small chocolate gift
Awarded to the entrant whose assigned team has the worst group-stage record.
The wooden spoon prize will be decided by:
Fewest group-stage points
Worst goal difference
Fewest goals scored
If still tied, a random draw between the tied teams
Entry and donation
Entry is completely free. This free-entry fundraiser is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
Donations are welcome and greatly appreciated, but donation will not increase your chance of winning.
After entering, £5, £10 or any amount would help make a real difference. Every donation helps Hope English School continue providing English and digital skills support for people in Sheffield.
