1. Promoter

2. Campaign type
This campaign is a free-entry charity prize draw fundraiser.
No purchase, payment or donation is required to enter.
This is not a paid raffle, paid lottery, or paid sweepstake. Entries are not sold, and participants do not need to buy a ticket, buy a team, or make a donation to take part.
3. Entry is free
Entry is completely free.
Donations are optional and will not affect an entrant’s chance of winning.
A person who enters for free will have the same chance of winning as a person who chooses to donate.
4. Purpose of the campaign
This campaign is being run to celebrate 10 years of Hope English School and to raise optional donations to support Hope English School’s work helping refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable adults in Sheffield to learn English, improve digital skills and build confidence.
5. Eligibility
The campaign is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
Only one entry is allowed per person.
Staff who are directly involved in administering the draw, allocating teams, or selecting winners may not enter.
Hope English School reserves the right to remove duplicate entries, incomplete entries, automated entries, or entries that appear to be fraudulent or unfair.
6. How to enter

No donation is required to complete the entry form.
7. Entry period
Entries open on:
28 May 2026
Entries close at:
12:00 noon UK time on 10 June 2026
Entries received after the closing time may not be included.
8. Optional donations
After entering, participants may choose to make an optional donation to Hope English School.
Donating is completely optional.
Donating will not:
increase the chance of winning;
give a person extra entries;
give a person a better team;
affect the team allocation process.
9. Team allocation
After entries close, each valid entrant will be randomly assigned a team from this summer’s international football tournament.
Team allocation will take place on:
10 June 2026, afternoon
The allocation will be carried out using a random process and recorded by Hope English School.
At least one trustee, volunteer or organiser will witness the allocation process.
10. Number of entries and boards
Each board contains up to 48 valid entries.
If more than 48 valid entries are received, Hope English School may create additional boards.
Each board will be treated fairly and transparently.
If additional boards are created, Hope English School will explain how prizes apply to each board before or at the time of team allocation.
11. Prizes
There will be two prizes:
Winner prize
Prize: £50 supermarket / shopping voucher
The winner prize will be awarded to the entrant whose assigned team wins the tournament.
Wooden spoon prize
Prize: Small chocolate gift
The wooden spoon prize will be awarded to the entrant whose assigned team has the worst group-stage record.
The wooden spoon result will be decided in this order:
Fewest group-stage points
Worst goal difference
Fewest goals scored
If two or more teams are still tied, a random draw between the tied teams
No cash alternative will be offered unless Hope English School decides otherwise.
Prizes are non-transferable.
12. Winner announcement
The winner prize will be confirmed after the tournament final on:
19 July 2026
The wooden spoon prize will be confirmed after the group stage results are complete.
Winners will be contacted using the details provided on the entry form.
Hope English School will take reasonable steps to contact each winner within seven days of the relevant result being confirmed.
13. If a winner cannot be contacted
If a winner cannot be contacted within 14 days of Hope English School’s first contact attempt, Hope English School may choose another eligible winner.
For the winner prize, this may be the entrant whose assigned team was runner-up.
For the wooden spoon prize, this may be another entrant whose assigned team was tied under the wooden spoon rules, or another fair method decided by Hope English School.
14. Publication of winners
Hope English School may publish the winner’s first name and assigned team, for example on its website, social media, newsletter or event materials.
Winners may object to their name being published by contacting Hope English School.
15. Data protection
Hope English School will use entrants’ personal data to:
administer the campaign;
allocate teams;
contact entrants about their assigned team;
contact winners;
keep campaign records;
process optional donations where relevant;
send future updates only where separate consent has been given.
Personal data will not be sold.
Marketing emails will only be sent where the entrant has given separate permission.
16. Fairness and administration
Hope English School will take reasonable care to run the campaign fairly and transparently.
Hope English School may refuse or remove any entry that is incomplete, duplicated, fraudulent, abusive, or contrary to these terms and conditions.
Hope English School’s decision on campaign administration, team allocation and prize eligibility will be final.
17. Changes or cancellation
Hope English School may amend, suspend or cancel the campaign if necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.
If changes are needed, Hope English School will act fairly towards entrants and will publish an update where appropriate.
18. No official association
This is an independent charity campaign by Hope English School.
It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to FIFA or any official tournament organiser.
No official tournament logos, marks, mascots, trophies or branding are used as part of this campaign.
19. Acceptance of terms
By entering the campaign, entrants agree to these terms and conditions.
