Our priority is to increase hope for each one of our students, and to open doors for them through language, in order that they can become more confident in their day-to-day lives, as well as providing them with increased opportunities, such as gaining employment or improving their current employment.

Our main aim at Hope English School is to teach English and build community, so we developed our Community group ESOL classes to help us reach this aim. Taught by fully qualified CELTA trained teachers, who come from established experienced-based backgrounds, they use a broad range of resources to actively engage the students in each area of English learning – speaking, reading, writing and listening. One of our primary values is excellence; we pride ourselves in offering a quality learning environment for each of our students, however they learn; whether auditory, kinaesthetic or visual.

Our classes are only provided by CELTA qualified, highly experienced teachers and are tailored to meet the needs of the learners attending. We are able to provide a mobile crèche and women only classes if required.

Our classes are free for our leaners at the point of access, if you would like to hire us for a group and need help with funding, we can provide advice on available funding and joint applications.

"We have ended up with a tailor made programme which has been successful in engaging the women and has helped them to develop the language skills they need for their day to day environment."
