There’s a lot happening right now: new classes, new team members, and fresh opportunities for our learners to connect and grow. From launching our ESOL/BSL courses to preparing for the opening of our first childcare service, it’s a busy and exciting time. We’ve even been finding inspiration in the small things—like writing poetry inspired by the spring blossom.

As the year comes to a close, I’ve found myself reflecting on the journey Hope English School has taken over the past twelve months. It’s been a year of profound highs and sobering challenges, underscoring just how vital our work remains in supporting asylum seekers and refugees in South Yorkshire.
